The Manuscript of Bear Wisdom and Lore
When JB returned from his trip to visit the Great Mother Bear he brought with him several documents. The Great Mother’s words of wisdom are now posted on the website and a new document is also posted after much hard work by yours truly.
Much of the manuscript I have translated was saved on bits of tree bark and old chewing gum wrappers and kept in a chest by the Great Mother. She permitted JB to borrow the document on the understanding that it be translated and shared with bears across the world.
This manuscript has been a source of inspiration to bears through the ages and explains why the number of domestic bears has increased over the years.
The original documents have now been returned to Mother Bear where they will be stored in the chest. The original document will be displayed during the summer at the bear’s annual picnic. Tickets for this event will be passed out in July.

Endangering Species!
Council response to polar bear legislation
In May, The United States officially designated polar bears an endangered species. This is a direct response to polar bear habitat disappearing due to global warming, which by all accounts is due to “You know who”
No plan has been put in place to rectify the problem.
Given that humans are destroying the planet through global warming, and that other recent human activity of an international nature:
1. Attacking Iraq for having dangerous weapons, when it turns out they didn’t have them, and
2.Responding to a major natural disaster by holding an election;
Shows that human irrationality has now reached epic proportions. The Cuddly Council has therefore officially designated humans an endangering species. Most political leaders have been placed on Jimmy the Rabbit’s ‘Most wanted’ list.

Warm breezes dance across the lake.
I sit and dip my paw in cool streams
to wash away the honey that’s stuck there,
this is bear time in the woods.
Soon the bears will gather in the clearing.
Family and old friends will meet again to sing songs and
drink tea - some will drink wine,
and the bear nation will rejoice.
For this is summer picnic time.
And every bear that ever there was
will gather here, for certain, because
