In Attendence: Gilbert, Sullivan, The Don, Bilbo, JB, English, Mendelson, Worc, Lewis.
Minutes arising from last meeting: Bilbo brought the meeting to order and pointed out that a meeting had not been held for some time. 2009 had been a busy year for everyone. JB’s Spring trek to find the great sky bear Doris had lead to one of his greatest poems and Bilbo reported that this tome had been well received by everyone who read it. Many congrats had been received from members of Fofurree Central. JB reported that he had closed his twitter account last year as he could never remember to do it. There was some discussion about the council having a group account on Twitter, or facebook.
New Business: Item 1: Bilbo officially introduced Lewis to the group. Lewis is a Welsh sheep who came back from Wales with the humans’ daughter who was visiting there last year. Lewis has strong Welsh Nationalist leanings and also wants to see the introduction of dragons to Canada. The group welcomed Lewis and JB suggested we all have a drink of wine to toast the new member.
Item 2: Gilbert reported that the female servant had been noted getting up during the night and that coincided with his friend, Burgundy bear, becoming a rather pale pink colour. Using his powers of reasoning Gilbert has concluded that the woman has become a vampire. Judge Mendelson expressed some doubt about this, but acknowledged that this strange coincidence should be investigated. The Don will look into the matter and report back next meeting.
Item 3: Snuffy and Tweak were unable to attend the meeting as they are visiting with Jed in British Columbia. They are apparently having a good time and the group looks forward to hearing about their vacation when they return. Tweak has started a video program called the Tweak Report. The first episode can be viewed here.
Item 4: Bilbo is compiling the next newsletter and asked members to submit some articles. Next meeting will be arranged when Snuffy and Tweak return from out west.
