The Cuddly Council
Welcome! My name is Bilbo. I am a bear who lives in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia. I am third from the left in the picture above. The other bears are, to the far left, The Don(Picture not available for security reasons). To my immediate right, English bear. To my left: Jive Bear(known as JB), Gilbert, Vincent, and far right, Snuffy Norton-Bearmani.
We form the executive of the Cuddly Council, a body that exists to represent domestic bears in their dealings with their servants, also referred to as humans.
The Cuddly Council was formed in the autumn of 2004 because of a growing perception by the bears that the humans were getting out of control. Bilbo's documentation of their increasing insanity in his book, Letters From Home, made most of the Cuddlies aware that someone needed to get a handle on things.
English Bear had initially avoided contact with the council as he considered himself far too important to be mingling with the other bears, who he would caustically refer to as 'Riff Raff'. That was until the day they asked him to become the chairbear. As English had aspirations beyond his current status; some said beyond his competancy, he decided to accept the role as a stepping stone to greater things.

When JB returned from his trip to visit the Great Mother Bear he brought with him several documents. The Great Mother’s words of wisdom are now posted on the website and a new document is also posted after much hard work by Bilbo. Read a copy 
The Verdict is in, and it's WOW! Celebrity Judge Mendelson, who grabbed our attention last year when he presided over the high profile case of "The Errant Serving Woman," was seen at The House of Bearmarni where he visited with top fashion designer Snuffy Norton-Bearmani. Later, he emerged wearing, what we think is one of the new fall designs from House of Bearmarni, and most people I talked to agreed, his judgement in clothing is equal to his legal insight. Snuffy Norton-Bearmani is not yet ready to comment on his Autumn showing, which will be featured in the first edition of his new magazine.
